A.M. Comfort and Orthopedic Shoes, was established by Victor Martinez, on July 28, 1979.  In 1983 Victor took his first course in Pedorthics and was awarded his first certificate from Ball State University.  After completing a four year apprenticeship program he attended his second course on advanced Pedorthics where he was awarded his second certificate from Northwestern University and passed his Board exam to become a Certified Pedorthist.   Victor and his wife attended yearly seminars which were required as part of the educational requirements needed to keep up with advancements in materials and techniques.

Since then Victor and his wife have been helping their customers find relief from many foot ailments by providing them with orthopedic and properly fitted comfort shoes.
